Basilly
A practical food platform combining recipes, meal planning and dining guides, with a dedicated gluten-free hub and cost-per-serving transparency.
Overview
Basilly needed to be more than a recipe blog — it needed to function as a genuine planning tool people return to every week. UNIT10 built the platform around three connected jobs: deciding what to cook, planning the week, and shopping for it, rather than treating recipes as isolated content pages.
Design
A clean, image-heavy interface built around large hero sections and consistent recipe card grids, designed to keep dense practical information (cost, time, dietary data) scannable at a glance rather than buried in paragraphs.
Technical approach
Built on Next.js with optimised image delivery, giving the content-heavy pages fast load times despite the volume of photography.
Where it stands today
Live and actively serving weekly meal planning and gluten-free content to UK home cooks.
